Edhi Eternalized!

Edhi Eternalized!
(Abdul Sattar Edhi: 1/1/1928 – 8/7/2016)
“Hazaroon saal nargas upni baynuri peh roti hae
Bury mushkil say hota hae chaman mein didavar paydal”
(Allama Iqbal)
The narcissus laments its sightlinessness for thousands of years
With great difficulty is a visionary born in life’s gradan!
(-Ikram Azam)
After Pakistan’s Islami Pragmatic Visionary Futurists
It was Maulana Edhi alone
Who had the practical vision to revive their tradition
In real life action to serve humanity soulfully
As pioneered by Madar-e-Millat Mohtrama Miss Fatima Jinnah
The Mother of the Nation
The younger sister of the Nation’s Father
The Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah
She exemplified social service and community work
In the rehabilitation of millions of Muslim refugees from India
At Independence on 14th August 1947
Her 49th Death Anniversary slipped by silently
On Saturday 9th July 2016
Maulana Edhi’s spirited service to humanity
Eternalized him as a living legend in his life-time
And by his death
He has re-eternalized Pakistan, itself
As a potential role model of social sector integrative-holistic development
Portraying Islam, itself as
The Perennial Peace Paradigm and
Muhammadi Moral Model:
Born in Bihar, East of British India
Maualan Edhi!
You opted for Pakistan
To make Karachi your home
And never looked back:
The future of Karachi
Indeed, of Pakistan, itself
Lies in replicating your miraculous manifest model of
Service of society from the grass roots
Through apolitical, non-partisan elected local bodies:
You will live like Pakistan, perpetually
Perennializing service of humanity
Humaneizing religion by believing in deed that
“No religion is higher than humanity!”
Thus, as `the richest poor of the world’
You have altruized poverty
By revitalizing religion
To serve society and humanity
Stoically: sincerely, spiritedly, soulfully, spiritually
During the last half century and more!
